Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce (Nam Pla)
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine the oyster sauce, light soy sauce, fish sauce, and dark soy sauce in a mixing bowl and whisk vigorously until homogenous.
  2. Add the brown sugar and white pepper; stir consistently for 60 seconds until integrated.
  3. Slowly pour in the water and whisk until the sugar has completely dissolved and the sauce looks glossy and smooth.
  4. Taste the sauce; if too pungent, add one additional teaspoon of sugar to balance the salinity.
