Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Thai Tea Mix (25g)
  • 1 cup boiling water (240ml)
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (12g)
  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk (40g)
  • 2 tbsp evaporated milk (30ml)
  • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes (200g)

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a rolling boil. Add the Thai tea leaves and remove from heat immediately.
  2. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, then strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a heat-proof container, pressing the leaves to extract all the essence.
  3. While the tea is still steaming, stir in the granulated sugar and the sweetened condensed milk until completely dissolved and glossy.
  4. Fill a tall glass to the brim with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the sweetened tea concentrate slowly over the ice.
  6. Gently drizzle the evaporated milk or half-and-half over the top to create a marble effect.
