Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Thai Tea Mix (25g)
- 1 cup boiling water (240ml)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (12g)
- 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk (40g)
- 2 tbsp evaporated milk (30ml)
- 1 1/2 cups ice cubes (200g)
Instructions:
- Bring water to a rolling boil. Add the Thai tea leaves and remove from heat immediately.
- Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, then strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a heat-proof container, pressing the leaves to extract all the essence.
- While the tea is still steaming, stir in the granulated sugar and the sweetened condensed milk until completely dissolved and glossy.
- Fill a tall glass to the brim with ice cubes.
- Pour the sweetened tea concentrate slowly over the ice.
- Gently drizzle the evaporated milk or half-and-half over the top to create a marble effect.
