Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) Old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup (240ml) Unsweetened almond milk
- 1/8 tsp (0.75g) Fine sea salt
- 2 tbsp (32g) Creamy peanut butter
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp (1g) Ground cinnamon
- 1/2 Banana, sliced
- 1 tsp (5g) Chia seeds
Instructions:
- Combine the rolled oats, almond milk, salt, and chia seeds in a small saucepan or a medium microwave-safe ceramic bowl.
- If using a saucepan, bring to a light boil over medium heat. If using a microwave, heat on high for 2 minutes. Stir occasionally until the liquid is mostly absorbed and the mixture is thick and bubbling.
- Remove from heat immediately and fold in the peanut butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir vigorously for 30 seconds to emulsify the fats into the oats.
- Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and garnish with sliced bananas.
