Ingredients:
- 2 cups (480ml) water
- 3 tbsp (15g) loose-leaf strong black tea
- 3 tbsp (45g) sweetened condensed milk
- 0.5g salt
Instructions:
- Bring the water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan. Add the loose-leaf tea or tea bags and reduce heat to a low simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until the liquid is dark and opaque.
- Remove the pan from the heat and strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the leaves. While the tea is steaming hot, whisk in the sweetened condensed milk and salt until the mixture is a uniform, pale orange-brown color.
- To aerate the beverage, pour the tea from one glass to another from a height of about 12 inches. Repeat this process 3–5 times to create a dense, velvety foam.
