Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Bulk Pork Sausage
  • 2 cups Bisquick biscuit baking mix
  • 16 oz Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese, freshly shredded
  • 4 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup Chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Shred the extra-sharp cheddar from a block and allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream together the bulk pork sausage and softened cream cheese on low speed until fully integrated.
  4. Gradually add the Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to the sausage mixture until a shaggy dough forms.
  5. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and fresh chives until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Using a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop, portion the dough and roll into 1-inch spheres between your palms.
  7. Place the balls 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until the exteriors are mahogany-colored and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar to create the signature dipping sauce.
