Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 8 oz (225g) extra-sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
- 1 tsp (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp (2g) garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp (1g) salt
- 2 tbsp (30g) green onions, finely minced
- 1/4 cup (30g) pecans, finely chopped
- 4 strips (60g) bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1/4 cup (30g) pecans, chopped
- 1 tbsp (2g) fresh parsley, minced
Instructions:
- Beat the room-temperature cream cheese using a spatula until the texture is velvety and free of lumps. Fold in the grated sharp cheddar and Worcestershire sauce until the color is uniform.
- Stir in the garlic powder, salt, minced green onions, and the interior portion of the pecans. Mix until the inclusions are evenly distributed but do not over-work the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Using your hands, gather the edges and twist the wrap tightly, squeezing the mixture into a firm, dense ball. Remove any air pockets to ensure structural integrity.
- Roll the ball in the combined crumbled bacon, chopped pecans, and parsley until the exterior is fully encapsulated.
- Place on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
