Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 8 oz (225g) extra-sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) salt
  • 2 tbsp (30g) green onions, finely minced
  • 1/4 cup (30g) pecans, finely chopped
  • 4 strips (60g) bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup (30g) pecans, chopped
  • 1 tbsp (2g) fresh parsley, minced

Instructions:

  1. Beat the room-temperature cream cheese using a spatula until the texture is velvety and free of lumps. Fold in the grated sharp cheddar and Worcestershire sauce until the color is uniform.
  2. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, minced green onions, and the interior portion of the pecans. Mix until the inclusions are evenly distributed but do not over-work the mixture.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Using your hands, gather the edges and twist the wrap tightly, squeezing the mixture into a firm, dense ball. Remove any air pockets to ensure structural integrity.
  4. Roll the ball in the combined crumbled bacon, chopped pecans, and parsley until the exterior is fully encapsulated.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
