Ingredients:

  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.67 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 0.25 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 cups cut green beans, drained
  • 1.33 cups french fried onions, divided

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Fold in the drained green beans and 0.67 cup (about half) of the french fried onions, ensuring all beans are coated.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 1.5-quart casserole dish and bake at 175°C (350°F) for 25 minutes until the edges are bubbling.
  4. Remove from the oven, stir gently, and sprinkle the remaining 0.66 cup of french fried onions evenly over the top.
  5. Return to the oven for 5 minutes until the onion topping is golden brown and crispy.
