Ingredients:

  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter (480g)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 397g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt (3g)

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to act as a sling for easy removal.
  2. In a medium microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Heat the mixture in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each, until the mixture is smooth, glossy, and completely combined. Do not allow it to boil.
  4. Remove the bowl from heat and immediately fold in the vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with an offset spatula until level.
  6. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm to the touch.
  7. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment sling and use a warm, sharp knife to cut into even squares.
