Ingredients:
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter (480g)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 397g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
- 0.5 teaspoon salt (3g)
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to act as a sling for easy removal.
- In a medium microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk.
- Heat the mixture in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each, until the mixture is smooth, glossy, and completely combined. Do not allow it to boil.
- Remove the bowl from heat and immediately fold in the vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with an offset spatula until level.
- Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm to the touch.
- Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment sling and use a warm, sharp knife to cut into even squares.
