Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (600g) fresh blueberries
  • 1 box (432g) yellow or white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Pour the fresh blueberries directly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread them evenly to ensure the entire pan is covered.
  2. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the blueberries. Use a fork to gently level the powder without pressing it into the fruit.
  3. Drizzle the melted butter evenly across the top of the cake mix, focusing on the edges and corners to prevent dry patches.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the top is golden brown.
