Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (40g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup (160ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (0.5g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt to your jar.
  2. Stir the dry mixture briefly with a fork. Ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed throughout the oats.
  3. Pour in the almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir vigorously for about 30 seconds. Continue until no dry pockets of oats or seeds remain at the bottom.
  5. Screw the lid on tightly until you feel the seal engage.
  6. Place the jar in the refrigerator.
  7. Let it sit for 6 hours 10 minutes until the mixture is thick and spoonable.
  8. Give it one last stir before eating to redistribute any settled liquid.
