Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (40g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2/3 cup (160ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
- 1 tbsp (15ml) maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (0.5g) ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt
Instructions:
- Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt to your jar.
- Stir the dry mixture briefly with a fork. Ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed throughout the oats.
- Pour in the almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Stir vigorously for about 30 seconds. Continue until no dry pockets of oats or seeds remain at the bottom.
- Screw the lid on tightly until you feel the seal engage.
- Place the jar in the refrigerator.
- Let it sit for 6 hours 10 minutes until the mixture is thick and spoonable.
- Give it one last stir before eating to redistribute any settled liquid.
