Ingredients:
- 2 fl oz (60 ml) Kentucky Bourbon
- 5 fl oz (15 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 4–6 fl oz (120–180 ml) High-Quality Spicy Ginger Beer
- Cubed or Crushed Ice
- 1 Lime Wheel or Wedge, for garnish
- 1 Fresh Mint Sprig, optional for garnish
Instructions:
- Chill the copper mug in the freezer for a minimum of 5 minutes before mixing to ensure maximum chill.
- Pour the measured Kentucky Bourbon and the fresh lime juice directly into the chilled copper mug.
- Fill the mug completely with ice (cubed or crushed), leaving about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space at the top.
- Slowly and gently pour the high-quality ginger beer over the ice until the mug is full, watching for slight foaming.
- Use a bar spoon to stir briefly—just 1 or 2 turns—to incorporate the ingredients without losing carbonation.
- Place a lime wedge or wheel on the rim and insert a freshly clapped mint sprig. Serve the Kentucky Mule Cocktail immediately while the mug is frosty.
