Ingredients:

  • 5 cups (750g) peaches, sliced
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) honey
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp (8g) cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) lemon juice
  • 2 cups (260g) Bisquick mix
  • 2/3 cup (160ml) milk
  • 1/3 cup (75g) melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp (0.5g) ground nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. If using canned peaches, drain them thoroughly. If using fresh, peel and slice.
  2. In a 9x13 pan, combine the peaches, honey, cinnamon, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Stir until the peaches are evenly coated.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and nutmeg.
  4. Stir in the melted butter until the batter is smooth and holds a soft peak.
  5. Spread the batter evenly over the peach mixture, keeping the topping distinct.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes until the crust is mahogany-colored and juices are bubbling.
