Ingredients:
- 5 cups (750g) peaches, sliced
- 2 tbsp (30ml) honey
- 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp (8g) cornstarch
- 1 tbsp (15ml) lemon juice
- 2 cups (260g) Bisquick mix
- 2/3 cup (160ml) milk
- 1/3 cup (75g) melted unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp (0.5g) ground nutmeg
Instructions:
- If using canned peaches, drain them thoroughly. If using fresh, peel and slice.
- In a 9x13 pan, combine the peaches, honey, cinnamon, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Stir until the peaches are evenly coated.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and nutmeg.
- Stir in the melted butter until the batter is smooth and holds a soft peak.
- Spread the batter evenly over the peach mixture, keeping the topping distinct.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes until the crust is mahogany-colored and juices are bubbling.
