Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls with Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze 

Ingredients:

For the Dough:
– 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
– 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1/3 cup butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 large eggs
– 4 cups all-purpose flour

For the Filling:
– 1/2 cup butter, softened
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
– 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped

For the Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze:
– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup butter, softened
– 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Directions:

.In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
2. Add the sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a 16×21-inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter over the dough.
6. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough. Scatter the chopped strawberries over the sugar mixture.
7. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the long edge. Cut the roll into 12-15 slices and place them in the prepared baking dish.
8. Cover the rolls with a damp cloth and let them rise for about 30 minutes, or until nearly doubled in size.
9. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
10. While the rolls are baking, prepare the lemon cream cheese glaze. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest, beating until smooth and creamy.
11. Spread the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
