Lemon Cheesecake Crescent Rolls 

Ingredients:

– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon lemon zest
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
– 1/4 cup powdered sugar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (for garnish)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
4. Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each crescent roll triangle, leaving a small border around the edges.
5. Starting at the wide end, roll up each crescent roll, enclosing the cream cheese filling.
6. Place the filled crescent rolls onto the prepared baking sheet.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. While the crescent rolls are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm crescent rolls.
10. Sprinkle with additional lemon zest for garnish, if desired.
11. Let the crescent rolls cool slightly before serving.
