Chicken with Buttered Noodles Recipe

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 ounces egg noodles
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
Return the cooked noodles to the skillet with the melted butter and garlic. Toss to coat the noodles evenly with the butter mixture.
Slice the cooked chicken breasts into strips and return them to the skillet with the noodles. Stir gently to combine.
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the chicken and noodles and toss to incorporate.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the chicken is heated through and the flavors are well combined.
Serve the chicken with buttered noodles hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
