Dill Pickle Sloppy Joe Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
8 slices of cheddar cheese
8 slices of sourdough bread
Butter, for spreading
Directions:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add onions and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, chopped pickles, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
Butter one side of each bread slice. Flip and place a slice of cheddar on each unbuttered side.
Spread the beef mixture on four slices of bread, topped with another slice of cheddar, then close with the remaining bread slices, buttered side out.
Heat a pan over medium heat and grill each sandwich until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
