Garlic Bread with Cheese
Ingredients:
1 loaf French bread or Italian bread, halved lengthwise
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over each half of the bread.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese generously over the buttered bread.
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Switch to broil for the last 1-2 minutes to achieve a golden-brown finish.
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
