Cheesy Pull Apart Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
1 large loaf of sourdough or Italian bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a sharp bread knife, make diagonal cuts across the bread about 1 inch apart, being careful not to cut all the way through the loaf.
Rotate the bread and make diagonal cuts in the opposite direction, creating a crosshatch pattern.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, salt, and pepper.
Gently pull apart the bread pieces and drizzle the garlic butter mixture into the cracks, ensuring even distribution.
Stuff the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese into the cuts, making sure to get cheese into all the crevices.
Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes, then unwrap the bread and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
