Kenner Police Chief, Keith Conley, said Colbert was allegedly seen on CCTV footage with Manzano on Wednesday morning at around 4:30am, The New York Times reports.
She was later allegedly seen leaving the reporter’s room alone.
Police report Colbert allegedly using Manzano’s credit card – that he used to check into his hotel – at multiple stores in the area.
Manzano’s credit card and cellphone were allegedly found at Colbert’s home after authorities obtained a warrant and searched it.
Colbert has previously pleaded guilty to fraudulently using a credit card in December 2019 and she was given five years probation.

Conley stated drugs were found in Colbert’s home alongside a gun however it’s not believe ‘the firearm is related to this case’.
Conley said: “This brings to light that there are people out there that prey on other people and bring them into their confidence and victimize them. These are the kind of things that can happen if you’re out in any city by yourself.”

A number of people are said to have been shot at the Kansas City Chief’s celebratory Super Bowl parade, according to officials.
The team proved victorious against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday (February 11).
Following their win, there’s been a parade put on in Missouri today (February 14), but things have taken a turn for the worse following a shooting.
It’s reported that several people have been shot.
The Kansas City Fire Department have since confirmed that one person has died and nine others have been injured.
CNN reported that five victims had been taken to The University Health Truman Medical Center, according to medical center’s managing communications director.
The conditions of those injured has still not been confirmed yet.
Two armed individuals have been detained by police as the investigation continues.
Capt. Jake Becchina, a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department, said in a statement: “At the conclusion of the rally there were shots fired west of Union Station near the garage and several people were struck.
“We need people to exit the area as quickly and safely as possible and avoid the parking garage in order to facilitate treatment of shooting victims.”

Elsewhere, the police department took to social media to urge people to stay away from the area surrounding Kansas City’s Union Station.
Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly was one of the hundreds of people who were inside Union Station at the time of the ordeal and has since confirmed that she’s safe and well.
She tweeted: “I have been evacuated and am out of harm’s way. I encourage everyone to follow instructions and updates from @kcpolice. Please stay safe.”
The shooting comes shortly after another incident earlier in the day.
According to Officer Alayna Gonzalez, two people were shot near 27th and McGee streets.

A woman ended up cheating death after being internally decapitated in a horrific car crash.
Rachel Bailey was left fighting for her life after a collision on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix in September 2011.
The then-23-year-old had her skull torn from her spine in the incident, but avoided being left paralyzed thanks to the speedy actions of firefighters who rushed to the scene.
The impact of the crash ruptured ligaments in Rachel’s neck and even forced the base of her skull off her spine, so it’s remarkable she was able to survive.
Speaking of the injury that left her in intensive care for a month, Rachel told Arizona TV station 3TV: “I just thought, ‘I’m not going to let this beat me, I’m not going to let this define me.'”

What saved the Phoenix woman was the fact her spinal cord remained intact, which allowed doctors to reconstruct her neck.
Rachel was placed in a coma and underwent six surgeries as a result of the crash.
The type of injuries that cause such often involve severe nerve damage or even the severing of the spinal cord, which typically results in paralysis or death.
Fortunately, she managed to escape that reality and even gained the ability to walk and talk after a lengthy recovery process.
Doctors couldn’t quite believe Rachel’s miraculous recovery, with the young woman putting it down to the fact that she was physically strong as well as having enough muscle around her neck to prevent the decapitation.
She later had dinner with the Phoenix firefighters who helped save her life.
Speaking to TODAY’s Jenna Wolfe, Rachel said: “I wanted to know who saved me. I wanted to thank them and I wanted to honor them.”

Reflecting on the crash, she added: “I can’t change it. you can’t ever change the past, only the future. My energy level is high. I’m ready to take on the world.”
Rachel concluded: “What I got from this whole accident is to live is to give, so if I’m not a giving back, if I’m not volunteering at the hospital that saved my life, I’m not living at all.
“I’m not going to let this beat me or define me.”
Rachel’s story has recently resurfaced after being posted by the Morbid Knowledge Twitter account.
One social media user wrote: “The way humans are able to survive is nothing sort of miraculous.”
While someone else praised: “Just looked up a video of her on The Today Show and she is an amazing young woman.”
The teacher and school student who died in a Wisconsin school shooting have been named.
On Monday (December 16), Natalie ‘Samantha’ Rupnow allegedly opened fire at Abundant Life Christian School in Wisconsin.
The ordeal claimed the lives of two people and injured six others – two of whom were said to be in critical condition.
Rupnow, 15, also died in the ordeal from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
An apparent motive is yet to be determined by police, but they’ve said that there could have been a ‘combination of factors’.
Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said in a press conference on Tuesday: “Identifying a motive is our top priority, but at this time it appears that the motive was a combination of factors.”
He added: “We are asking anyone who knew her or who may have insights into her feelings leading up to yesterday to please contact the Madison-area Crime Stoppers.”

As law enforcement continues to investigate the matter, the two people that died in the ordeal have been named.
42-year-old teacher Erin Michelle West died in the incident, as well as ninth grader Rubi Patricia Vergara.
West’s students have described her as ‘kind and caring’ and is said to have ‘really loved her kids’, says CNN.
Elsewhere, Vergara, 14, ‘loved art, singing and playing keyboard’ in her family worship band.
The teenager also loved animals and a special connection with her cat, Ginger, and dog, Coco.

While Rupnow is believed to have been the perpetrator of the attack, a 20-year-old man in California has been arrested in connection to Monday’s ordeal.
Alexander Paffendorf, 20, is said to have been detained by the FBI on suspicion of ‘plotting’ to coordinate a mass shooting at government buildings in conjunction with Rupnow, Mail Online reports.
Part of an emergency gun violence restraining order relating to Paffendorf’s detention reads: “During an FBI interview, Paffendorf admitted to the FBI agents that he told Rupnow that he would arm himself with explosives and a gun that he would target a government building.”
FBI agents are said to have read the text exchanges between the 20-year-old and Rupnow.
