Here’s the reason why Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, won’t face any from of punishment for her NSFW Grammys outfit on Sunday evening.
West, who as we are all aware is never too far away from the headlines, stunned paparazzi on the Grammys red carpet.
The rapper – dressed in an all-black outfit paired with some sunglasses – was overshadowed by wife Censori, who slowly dropped her black fur coat to reveal a transparent mesh dress – with absolutely nothing on underneath.

Shortly after, it was reported that they had left the awards ceremony – with reports circulating on social media claiming the pair had been ‘kicked out’.
Although it was later confirmed that the pair left on their own accord.
As you’d probably expect, those tuning into the Grammys on 2 February were stunned by the revealing outfit, and many took to social media to express their surprise.
One person penned on Twitter: “I’m not going to tweet the pictures of Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori. Whatever the reason, whatever is going on, it is not right and is deeply disturbing. Is it not indecent exposure? Are there not laws against such things?”
“How is Bianca Censori not in prison after exposing herself in public the amount of times she has,” another person wrote.

And a third penned: “Why the hell is Bianca Censori not in jail for indecent exposure. Children were present. California Penal Code § 314 PC @LAPDHQ.”
While the outfit shocked millions, Censori will not face any punishment for the NSFW outfit, according to the New York Post.
The Recording Academy and AEG, who are responsible for putting the Grammys on annual telecast every year, say they have not received any complaints during or after the awards ceremony, according to a report by TMZ.
The outlet also reported no complaints were raised with the police, as they cited an LAPD spokesperson that said no one had contacted the force over grievances.
The California Penal Code 314 (1) defines indecent exposure as ‘when a person exposes his or her naked body or genitals in front of anyone who could be annoyed or offended by it’. So because no complaints of offence were made against Censori, no legal action against her will be taken.

This comes after a source close to West told The Sun that the rapper allegedly used the Grammys to celebrate ‘art’ through Censori.
“People have called this a stunt but to Ye this is his art,” they said. “He turned up, made headlines around the world and left. No one told him what to do and even if they had, he wouldn’t have listened.
“Ye always planned to do the red carpet and leave – he’d never sit through the Grammys because it’s so dull and boring.”
Sources described Censori as a ‘muse’ for West, adding: “There’s no coercion involved. This is what Ye does, he makes a statement and the whole world talks about it.”

But fans think she may have taken it a step too far when she strolled up with husband Kanye West to the 67th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles yesterday (February 2), with many believing she could face jail time over her NSFW outfit.

As the rap-mogul and his Australian wife approached the paparazzi, the 30-year-old turned her back to the cameras and slowly dropped her thick, black fur coat to reveal a transparent mesh dress – with no underwear on.
Fans have flooded Twitter to share their shock, with many left dumbfounded in how she has avoided arrest.
“How is Bianca Censori not in prison after exposing herself in public the amount of times she has,” wrote one person.
“Why the hell is Bianca Censori not in jail for indecent exposure,” added another.
“Children were present. California Penal Code § 314 PC @LAPDHQ.”
A third typed: “Bianca Censori could be charged with indecent exposure per California law. Honestly, she should be.”

While a fourth felt uncomfortable even sharing her outfit to their followers, adding: “I’m not going to tweet the pictures of Kanye West‘s wife, Bianca Censori. Whatever the reason, whatever is going on, it is not right and is deeply disturbing.
“Is it not indecent exposure? Are there not laws against such things?”
What are the laws around indecent exposure in California?
It falls under Penal Code 314, here is what California Legislature reads:
Chapter 8: Indecent Exposure, Obscene Exhibitions, and Bawdy and Other Disorderly Houses.
Every person who willfully and lewdly, either:

1. Exposes his person, or the private parts thereof, in any public place, or in any place where there are present other persons to be offended or annoyed thereby; or,
2. Procures, counsels, or assists any person so to expose himself or take part in any model artist exhibition, or to make any other exhibition of himself to public view, or the view of any number of persons, such as is offensive to decency, or is adapted to excite to vicious or lewd thoughts or acts.
When contacted by the New York Times about Censori’s outfit, a spokesperson referred the publication to the above California penal code.
Indecent exposure can be punishable by up to six months in prison or a fine of up to $1,000.

That’s right, Doja Cat had nipped to the loo when it was announced she and SZA had won best pop duo for their song ‘Kiss Me More’ at the 2022 Grammys. Typical.

A lip reader has given their take on what Kanye West said to his wife on the Grammys red carpet, and it seems he did not hold back.
Of course, it is nothing out of the ordinary for celebrity couples to attend such star-studded events together and pose for photographers beforehand – but it wasn’t the couple’s attendance that got people talking.
People were quick to react to Censori’s NSFW ensemble on social media.
One person penned: “I hope the ‘it’s fashion’, ‘it’s self-expression’ people shut the f**k up now. How is this not indecent exposure or something?”
A second said: “Bianca Censori wearing absolutely nothing but a single piece of completely sheer mesh, no underwear or anything, to the Grammys and posing on the red carpet like that is insane. And i can’t help but think Kanye has a lot to do with that decision.”
There were some positive comments, however.
“I love Bianca Censori’s look and if we weren’t a society so concerned with policing women we could get into how bad she served!! This is fashion this is art truly,” one supporter of the 30-year-old’s look penned.

While on the red carpet, it seems as if West gave his wife some words of encouragement.
“I’ll tell ’em you’re on fire tonight, babe,” the rapper reportedly said according to lip-reader, Nicola Hickling, who spoke to The Mirror.

Elsewhere, West hailed his wife as his ‘best friend’ in an Instagram Story posted after walking the red carpet.
Sharing a snap of Censori’s revealing outfit, West wrote: “Custom Courture Grammy dress for the most beautiful woman ever. My best friend My wife.”

The pair’s attendance at the Grammys last night comes after they were hit with reports that they were heading towards a divorce.
In October, it was said that Censori and West had separated. Speaking at the time, sources told TMZ that the couple had been telling people around them that ‘they split up a few weeks ago’.
But, if last night’s appearance is anything to go by, this seems to be far from the case and the couple remain very much together.
They will have celebrated their second wedding anniversary on December 20, having thought to of wed in a small, private ceremony in 2022.
“Kanye and Bianca did have a small marriage ceremony, friends don’t know if it’s legal, but it’s very real to them,” a source told US Weekly a month after their reported nuptials.

Kanye West has addressed the rumor that he and his wife, Bianca Censori, were ‘kicked out of the Grammys’.
On Sunday (February 2), the rap-mogul, 47, and his 30-year-old partner made headlines around the world for their ‘performance’ on the red carpet.

Shortly after the couple made their appearance, it was reported that they had left – with a frenzy taking place on social media as many speculated the pair had been ‘kicked out’ of the 67th Grammy Awards ceremony.
Now, the 47-year-old has slammed former CNN broadcast journalist Don Lemon, accusing him of pedalling the false rumor.
Sharing a post of Lemon on social media, West captioned it: “This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this.”
The post has since been deleted.
Lemon has since replied to West with a video on his Instagram account.

“First of all, Kanye… Ye, yay – whatever your name is. I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys, I actually corrected it,” he explained.
“I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere. So first of all, get your s*** straight, and you of all people calling me a k**n. That ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”
Meanwhile, a source close to West told The Sun on Sunday that the rapper allegedly used the Grammys to celebrate ‘art’ through his wife.

An insider with knowledge of Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s relationship has made a bold claim about why the model is often seen in explicit outfits.
After striking up their relationship in 2022, West and Censori have been spotted together on numerous occasions both in California and in countries across the globe.
As a model, Censori is no stranger to dressing in eye-catching outfits, but some have proved more daring than others – at times even risking her jail time.
As the 29-year-old becomes known for particularly explicit outfits, an insider has now claimed that her fashion choices are actually linked to West’s ex, Kim Kardashian.
Speaking to The Sun, they claimed: “Kanye is seething about how successful SKIMS is – he wants to take Kim on with his own brand, but wants it to be riskier, sexier and make more money than SKIMS.”
Kardashian launched her shapewear and clothing brand SKIMS in 2018, and last year, it was valued at more than $4 billion.
So, in order to take on SKIMS, West is allegedly using Censori to ‘test’ the kind of outfits he could include in his own brand.

“She’s his muse and will model the line, he thinks she can showcase his brand and it’ll sell out,” the insider claimed.
“That’s why he’s parading her around in these outfits to take revenge on Kim.”
The claims come after Mark Borkowski, one of the UK’s leading PR gurus, claimed West and Censori were hoping to follow in Kardashian’s footsteps and ‘break the internet’ with their public outings.
“Kanye understands outrage and is trying to break the Internet,” Borkowski told the MailOnline.
“It is a weird freak show that everybody is engaging with and some are enjoying these quite explicit photos,” he said.

Of course, it’s still possible that Censori simply does enjoy opting for more daring fashion choices and showing off her figure.
Last month, Censori was spotted exploring the sights of Paris while wearing a white fur coat and a pair of black, completely see-through-tights, seemingly with no underwear, which left her groin and backside on display – an outfit which appeared to violate the local penal code.
We may have to wait and see whether West does end up launching a new line, but either way, I’m sure Censori will have some new outfits to show off before then.
