According to the Mirror US, the homes of countless huge-name stars are currently under threat, including the likes of Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson, Reese Witherspoon and her family, Miles Teller and wife Keleigh, and Adam Sandler, his wife and their two children.

The families of Steve Guttenberg and Michael Keaton – all of whom live in the area – are also at risk.

As we say, amongst the thousands of Los Angeles residents who’ve sadly seen their beloved home go up in flames are reality TV couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

According to local news outlets, the wildfire ripped through the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood, engulfing their property – in which the on-screen couple raised their two sons, Gunner and Ryker – in fire and smoke.

On his Instagram Story, firefighters could be seen attempting to douse the fire with water being dropped from above by emergency airplanes.

Sadly, however, their attempt was to no avail, and their property was amongst those in the Palisades area that was burned to the ground.

Spencer’s sister and former Made In Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt also took to social media to confirm the fate of her brother’s home.

Stephanie, 38, went on to explain: “My parents evacuated safely and are watching the fire rage towards their house on security cameras. I don’t even want to look at mine as my dad told me the Market down the street from my house is on fire.”

The cause of this week’s wildfire currently remains unknown.
