Ingredients:
• 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced into strips
• 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
• 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
• 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
• 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 2 cups beef broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
• 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
• 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions:
1. Sear the Beef:
o In a large skillet or pot, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
2. Cook the Vegetables:
o In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil. Sauté the sliced onion and bell peppers for 4-5 minutes, or until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
3. Prepare the Sauce:
o Pour the beef broth and heavy cream into the skillet with the onions and peppers. Stir to combine, then add the pasta. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and cover. Simmer for 12-15 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked to al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
4. Add the Cheese and Steak:
o Stir in the shredded provolone, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until the sauce is creamy and the cheese has melted completely. Add the cooked steak back to the skillet and stir to combine, allowing the flavors to meld together for 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve and Garnish:
o Serve the Philly Cheesesteak Pasta hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy this comforting, cheesy, and flavorful dish!Prep Time: 15 mins | Cooking Time: 25 mins | Total Time: 40 mins | Servings: 4 | Calories: 520 kcal
