Savory Turkey Meatloaf

Ingredients:
• 1 ½ lbs ground turkey
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• ½ cup milk
• 1 large egg, beaten
• 2 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• Salt and pepper to taste
• ½ cup ketchup (for topping)
• 2 tbsp brown sugar (for topping)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, beaten egg, 2 tbsp ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, pressing it evenly into the pan.
4. In a small bowl, mix ½ cup ketchup and brown sugar together. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides for a comforting meal!
