Garlic Bread
Crispy Garlic Bread with Buttery Herb Spread
Ingredients:
1 large loaf of French or Italian bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions:

Prepare the Garlic Butter:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
If using, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
Prepare the Bread:
Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
Bake the Garlic Bread:
Place the bread halves, buttered side up, on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
For an extra crispy top, switch the oven to broil for the last 1-2 minutes of baking, keeping a close eye on it to prevent burning.
Serve:
Remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
Slice the bread into thick pieces and serve warm.
