Apple Pie Biscuits
Ingredients:
– 1 can (8 count) buttermilk biscuits
– 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup melted butter
– 1/2 cup powdered sugar
– 2 tablespoons milk
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. Separate the biscuits and flatten each one slightly with your hands.
3. In a bowl, mix the apple pie filling with cinnamon and brown sugar until well combined.
4. Spoon a generous amount of the apple pie mixture onto the center of each biscuit.
5. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling and pinch to seal.
6. Place the filled biscuits seam side down in the prepared baking dish.
7. Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
9. While the biscuits are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuits before serving.
