Grilled Beef and Mushroom Burger
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 oz dried shiitake mushrooms, ground into powder
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 burger buns
Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and condiments of choice
Instructions:
Prepare Mushroom Powder: Grind dried mushrooms into a fine powder.
Mix and Shape Patties: Combine ground beef with mushroom powder, season with salt and pepper, and form into patties.
Cook Patties: Grill or cook in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, about 4 minutes per side.
Sauté Onions: In a separate skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions until golden.
Assemble Burgers: Top patties with Swiss cheese, let melt, then place on buns with sautéed onions, lettuce, tomato, and condiments.
