A Twitch streamer took to Twitter to inform her fans that she was ‘being robbed at gunpoint’ as three armed men broke into her home.
Kaitlyn Siragusa, who goes by Amouranth online, detailed how she was dragged out of bed by masked men who demanded that she transfer them her cryptocurrency, during the invasion that took place at her property in Houston, Texas, on Sunday (March 2).

Having been handed her phone to sign into her account, with a gun to her head, she opted to tweet for help rather than dial 911 as to not arise suspicion.
At 10.55pm Central Standard Time, the streamer tweeted: “I’m being too robbed at gunpont.”
Before following up a minute later with: “I believe I shot one of them they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed.”
In November, Siragusa shared a screenshot with her followers that revealed she owned more than $20 million in Bitcoin, as well as just shy of $80,000 of the digital coin Ethereum.
Then at 11.29pm, she notified fans that she was under no more harm. Tweeting: “This was a home invasion swat here now I’m safe.”
Just minutes later she typed: “I’m covered in blood but only some of it is mine I’ll update yall later but I’m safe now.”
While explaining why she didn’t call the police, she wrote: “Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence.”
The following morning (March 3), the 31-year-old posted surveillance footage of the invasion which depicted three men running into her property, before running out – with one of them yelling that he had been shot while inside the Texan’s home.
“3 gun men. He screams ‘I got shot I got shot’ after. I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence,” she posted.

“They beat me before this video and pistol whipped me the pummeling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I Learned how to do in boxing, blood was streaming down my head and my hands were beat brown.
“They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.”
Siragusa also posted pictures of her bedroom door that the intruders shot at to break during the invasion, as well as a further tweet that explained that forensics had paid her a visit to test the blood from the masked man who claimed to have been hit.
“A trail of his blood all the way along driveway forensic testing it,” she tweeted.
Houston Police Officers’ Union issued the following statement: “If you have any information related to this aggravated robbery / home invasion, contact the Houston Police Robbery Division or Crime Stoppers of Houston.”
A 5-year-old boy has died following an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Brooks Thomas Wilson found a 9mm gun in the back of his home and fired a single shot to his head on Thursday (August 22) according to police.
Lt. Mike Wall with the Santaquin Police Department said that his parents and siblings were home at the time, however, they were not in the room with him, as per ABC News.

He further explained that his family tried to resuscitate him while emergency responders tried their best to save the little boy. He was confirmed dead at the scene.
Authorities do not suspect foul play and charges against his parents are not currently being pursued, The Daily Mail reports.
According to Fox 13, Utah doesn’t have any laws that penalize a person for failing to secure their firearms and leaving it unattended to an unsupervised minor.
It is also not required by the state to store weapons in a certain way or require a locking device, however, investigators are looking into how he could have got his hands on a gun – which is currently unknown.
Lt. Wall also declined to comment on if or how the gun was secured, The Daily Mail says.
His family have set up a GoFundMe page in memory of Brooks, with his relative Spencer organizing the fund to ‘support our family during this time, any contributions will go towards covering funeral expenses’.
They wrote: “Brooks was always a happy and adventurous young boy, and his loving spirit will be remembered forever.

“If you feel inclined to support our family during this time, any contributions will go towards covering funeral expenses. We are thankful to know that we will be reunited with him again.”
The ‘Wilson and Hunsaker’ family also released a statement on Friday (August 23) which read: “This heartbreaking incident has taught us difficult lessons, and we deeply regret that it unfolded this way. Our hearts are shattered, and we hope that our family´s loss serves as a poignant reminder of how quickly life can change.”
In his obituary, they went on to share that Brooks had ‘lived his life to the fullest and always wore his heart on his sleeve’ and that ‘his curious nature showed a deep desire to learn and to pitch in with tasks around the home and with his dad working in the garage’.
As per The Daily Mail, Wall said that the family is ‘obviously devastated’, adding: “Obviously it’s a shock to the community. It’s always a good reminder of how quick things can happen and how fast accidents can take place.”
UNILAD has contacted the Santaquin Police Department for further comment.

The mom of a 19-year-old who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend after a Halloween party turned sour, yelled four words at her killer when she next saw him.
On October 30, 2020, Livye Lewis visited a friends house for a party in Hemphill, Texas, that carried on into the early hours of the morning on October 31, but at 2.30am things got heated.

At the gathering was Lewis, her ex-boyfriend Matthew Edgar – who was 24 at the time – and his ex-wife Montana Bockel, and then Bobby Ozan whose house it was.
According to Ozan, Lewis and Bockel both spent much of the night ignoring Edgar – with Lewis having only broken up with Edgar just a few weeks before.
After the majority of the party had gone, Edgar overheard Lewis’ plans to stay the night with Ozan and so began assaulting Bockel for not preventing her and Ozan getting together.
Ozan then restrained Edgar, while both the women made off. Bockel drove to Edgar’s grandparents home, but it wasn’t clear where Lewis was driving.

Edgar managed to catch up with Lewis and when Bockel text him asking ‘Where is she?’ at 3.34am, he replied seconds later ‘Dead’.
Roughly an hour and a half later, a woman pulled over at the side of the road after seeing Lewis’ car. After walking over to it she checked her pulse and called 911 at around 5.15am to report her death – with Lewis having a gunshot wound to her neck.
When officers arrived, they discovered Edgar curled up in the fetal position behind the car and he claimed to have no recollection of what had happened – due to him allegedly drinking a bottle of whiskey.
“He was found in the fetal position behind the vehicle that Lewis was found in,” says MacDonough.
Sabine County Sheriff’s Investigator J.P. MacDonough said when he saw Lewis’ body, he knew that Lewis knew her killer.

“She was just sitting there with her legs crossed,
“Well, it indicates to me she was not afraid … She was actually, to some degree, comfortable with who she was speaking with.”
Officials then found a rifle nearby and blood on Edgar’s clothes and arrested him but he claimed he didn’t know how he ended up at the crime scene.
While he lay in hospital the same day, he was interviewed by MacDonough: “You don’t know how you ended up on the ground behind the car … With the dead girl in it,” said MacDonough. “No, sir,” Edgar replies. “I have no clue.”
Edgar was released on bail later due to the Covid-19 pandemic and all courts being shut down, no grand juries convened.
Just months after his release he bumped into Darci Bass, Lewis’ mom, in a convenience store in Hemphill. She yelled four heartbreaking words at him: “You killed my daughter!”
Bass then proceeded to throw anything she could at him and chased him into the parking lot and smashed his truck up with a chain that was in the back of Edgar’s truck.
On January 4, 2022, he went on trial but just days into it he did not return and instead went on the run. The trial continued and Edgar, who is now 27, was found guilty of Lewis’ murder – but it took almost an entire year before he was captured on December 29, 2022.
He was found in a house just yards away from his grandparents home.

A Texas teenager with autism could face permanent blindness after his so-called friend allegedly threw drain de-clogger into his face.
Friendswood Police Department claim that on May 20, Branden Jolly, 17, assaulted his autistic friend Brody Morgan, 18, with a ‘white powdered substance’.
It’s said that the two teenagers were walking through Jolly’s neighbourhood at the time of the incident when another friend joined them.
During the trio’s walk through the Houston suburb, it’s claimed that one of Morgan’s peers stole a package from a house, as per ABC13.
Court documents obtained by the outlet state that a ‘container filled with a powdered substance’ was inside and that Jolly proceeded to ‘throw’ the contents onto the shirt of the autistic teen.
Officials say Morgan then ‘pushed Jolly to create distance’ and to prevent ‘further contact’ with the chemical substance.

However, the police state this move prompted Jolly to ‘[throw] the elements of the container into the face of the male victim causing severe pain to his eyes.’
Following the incident, Morgan was rushed back to his house by his friends where his mother, Amy Morgan, tried to flush his eyes with saline and water.
Despite initially suspecting the substance with salt, the victim’s mother put her son in the car and drove him to hospital.
“All I heard was he had a substance thrown in his face, which I was told was salt,” she said.
“We went into the emergency room, and they immediately realized that it was not salt, and they kept trying to get from me what it was, and I had no idea.”
It’s alleged that medical practitioners later learned that the chemical caking Morgan’s eyes was not salt, but drain de-clogger.

Two days after the incident, the Friendswood Police Department arrested Jolly and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted felony charges for Injury to Disabled.
Jolly allegedly escaped house arrest after prosecutors demanded it be added to his now $300,000 bond, the Daily Mail reports.
Following the incident, the family of the alleged perpetrator told ABC13 that they were ‘distraught’ over the details of the case.
“I’m very saddened by the entire event, and heart goes out to Brody and his family,” they said in a statement.
“I believe this incident was NOT an act of malicious intent by my son to harm his friend but an accident resulting from the choices made by all parties involved.”
In response, the victim’s mother sympathised with Jolly’s relatives and claimed the situation would be ‘hard on them’.

“She’s his mom. She’s going to try to protect her son, and I don’t blame her,” she said.
“But they are not having to deal with a child that is possibly going to lose his vision or scarring burns on his face.”
She added that kids with autism ‘don’t always know how to make good friend choices’ and that he has been transferred to a burn unit.
It’s not known whether Morgan will permanently lose his vision and it’s stated that his recovery process is unpredictable.

A Twitch streamer who had a missing 17-year-old boy randomly appear on his live stream has spoken out.
Troy Coleman was last seen by family and friends on May 21, 2024 in Mt Morris Township, Michigan, and hasn’t been heard from since – that was until he popped up in nothing but a pair of green shorts.
Almost seven weeks later, his brother Trent Coleman contacted FaZe Lacy to inform the streamer that he had just spotted his brother more than 20 hours away from his home, in Miami.

FaZe posted the email he received to his 88.4k followers. It read: “Hello my name is Trent Coleman and my missing little brother from michigan was on Clix and lacy’s stream in Miami, he was wearing green shorts and they were making fun of him.
“He is not on drugs he is schizophrenic and he is 17 years old if someone can contact me about this i would be so thankful he has been missing for 3 months and his case was put on homicide in michigan.”
When asked what he thought of the email, Lacy told a social media user: “I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it means they thought he was dead but now his family knows he’s alive. Power of the internet is wild.”
And well, people got pretty defensive after hearing that the streamers were being mean to the missing teen – and rightfully so.
One person commented: “Dam, making fun of random people don’t seem so funny now does it…”
While someone else said: “Least you can do is share a post after making fun of him. Do better. The post is a start.”
And they weren’t the only ones to think so, with another saying: “Least you could do after making fun of him.”
However, while they may have picked on him initially for their content, they may have inadvertently helped.

Well inadvertently initially, but when FaZe Lacy took to the platform to share the news he may have redeemed himself.
He posted: “3 months ago a 17 year old kid went missing and was put on homicide.
“Yesterday on stream he came up to me and Clix and now his family knows he is alive and in Miami.
“I wasn’t sure if i should make this public but im hoping somehow this helps him be found for his family.”
One person commented: “I don’t like lacy or clix but this is genuinely a good thing. Jah bless.”
