Charlie Sheen reflected on his first reaction to his daughter joining OnlyFans, admitting it was a ‘knee-jerk’ response.
The 59-year-old actor was expecting the worse when he found out his second oldest daughter, Sami Sheen, had joined the OnlyFans platform back in 2022.
Sheen wasn’t the only one with some reservations, however.
Sami’s mom, Denise Richards, appeared to take issue with the move and advised the then 19-year-old to ‘think twice’ because there was a ‘certain perception’ that went with it.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star would eventually turn to social media to defend her daughter’s choice as she was posting on the platform as well.

In an Instagram post at the time, Richards said: “Lots of negative comments on my social this past week. I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has.
“I also can’t be judgmental of her choices. I did Wild Things & Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn’t be either.
“And to be able to ignore the negativity at her age? It took me many years & I still sometimes struggle. I’m in awe of her ability to be able to shut out the noise. Because it can destroy you.”
Previously speaking to Bustle about his daughter joining the subscription-based site, Sheen admitted he was clear about his reservations before he came around to the idea.
He said: “I had a knee-jerk reaction to it because of the reputation that preceded it. I was just like, ‘Oh, this can only go bad’.”
The Two and a Half Men star admitted that wasn’t his usual approach to new ventures but added that his reaction was tied to the fact it involved his daughter.
Sheen explained: “I think when your child is involved, it presents as just a whole different alternative set of circumstances.”

While speaking to US Weekly, Sheen appeared to make a dig at Richards – who he split from in 2006 – by insisting that Sami did not start her career on the platform ‘under his roof’, alluding to the fact she was living with her mother at the time.
He added: “I do not condone this but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity.”
The actor would eventually come around and that his daughter’s success was partly dependent on the support she received from her parents.
Sheen noted: “She’s doing this and it can only be a much more successful and pleasant experience with the support of myself, her mom, and others.
“I have to have confidence and just know in my heart that all of her virtues and all the wonderfulness that makes her, her, come with her.”
While Richards and her daughter post on the platform, there’s one rule they both follow – do not go onto each other’s pages.
Drea de Matteo has explained how much her two children have to do with her latest career move – and exactly what they think of it.
The actor, best known for her roles in The Sopranos and Sons Of Anarchy, has claimed that launching a page on OnlyFans ‘saved’ her family.
Despite its success and its ability to put food on the table, the 52-year-old admitted in a recent interview that she was initially hesitant about posting content online.

She also revealed she felt she had little choice but to start after losing out on acting gigs due to her continued refusal of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Speaking to Club Random’s The Sage Steele Show, de Matteo opened up about the lucrative job as well as her children’s thoughts and feelings.
She said: “I had to sit them down the other day and be like, ‘Look, I did a collaboration with Carmen Electra and these pictures are racy – I’m not gonna lie’.”
However, despite initial misgivings, the star claims her kids are now supportive of her new venture.
She revealed that her daughter Alabama, 16, who she shares with ex Shooter Jennings, has previously assisted with photoshoots for the site.
The actor added that Alabama ‘doesn’t care at all’ about the content she shares online – but her son Waylon, 12, was originally a different story.
“Sometimes I’ll put him in his place,” she explained. “Like ‘Do you like that jacket you just asked me to buy you?’

“’You like all the things that you want, that make you happy? You like that new PC that you begged for for Christmas? Because you wouldn’t have that s**t if Mommy didn’t show her a**’.”
She continued to say that her retorts usually ‘shut’ her son – whom she also shares with 44-year-old Jennings – up because he can sometimes be a ‘little greedy little b**tard’.
Elsewhere in the conversation, de Matteo praised the relationship that she shares with her kids and relished in the fact they can be ‘so open about everything’.
She then went on to say that she has advised her children what to say if they are ridiculed by their friends.
“If they say anything, say ‘Those boobies fed me when I was a little baby and they’re still feeding me now’,” de Matteo said.
Despite her son’s initial disapproval, de Matteo has continued to post content on OnlyFans since August 2023.
“I got a lot of heat for it,” she confessed about starting her page.
The actor also revealed that it was ‘the last trick’ up her sleeve to feed her children and ‘take care of everything’.
Speaking to MailOnline earlier this year, de Matteo said: “It saved my life, 100 percent. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us.
“Anybody that wants to condemn me and put me down, go for it. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two little kids.”

He explained being a cameraman for his mother’s OnlyFans content is ‘really work’, which ultimately means he doesn’t ‘get horny’ and also ‘because she’s [his] mother’ he’s ‘not attracted to her’.
In a Q&A conversation on Instagram, the teenager added: “I don’t think it’s weird. Sometimes I have to tell her what position she has to be in, what the girl has to do. The last one we did [where we hooked up with a woman in a motel], I literally gave the instructions for most of the photos and videos. It was all me saying: ‘Do this, do that’. […] I can only think of a position that is better to sell more.”
While he’s argued it’s typically ‘very serene’ to record his mom’s OnlyFans content and he’s ‘not ashamed’ to do so, elsewhere in the interview Arthur admitted there was one day of filming in particular which ended up being a bit ‘gross’.
He started: “There was a scene… Oh my god.”
And then his mom jumped in to detail exactly what went down.

“Man, what a stink,” Arthur added.

However, she added Arthur couldn’t help but comment it was ‘disgusting’.
It would seem social media users agree too, one user chiming: “This is disgusting.”
Another added: “This is very sickening.”
And a third simply resolved: “Why are they laughing? This is not funny…”

Arthur reiterated he treats his role like ‘work’ and noted at the end of the day, Andressa is his ‘mother’ and he’s ‘not attracted to her’ however, that doesn’t mean it’s always plain sailing.
The teenager added: “Sometimes I’m like, ‘That’s gross’ – there was a scene…”
Andressa, from Brazil, added there was indeed one scene in particular the pair shot which her son called ‘disgusting’ but ultimately didn’t go into any further details.
And unfortunately for the mother and son duo, the sentiment has been echoed by many online.

One Twitter user wrote: “Disgusting.”
