Her outfit comes from Chloé’s Summer 2025 Collection and was featured as Look 35 in the brand’s fashion show, which took place in September.

Lopez completed her outfit with closed-toe heels that were also champagne-colored and accessorized with gold hoop earrings and eye-catching rings. She styled her hair in loose waves and adorned her face with makeup.

Upon seeing her carousel post, online viewers flocked to the comment section to express their opinions on her look, with most finding fault with what she wore.

“Someone is missing their dining rooms [sic] drapes!” remarked an Instagrammer. Another echoed a similar sentiment“Sorry but looks like she stole someone’s drapes! 😂.” “I guess her curtains got recycled 😂😂😂,” added someone else, while a Facebooker reiterated“Looks like she’s wearing her curtains.”

Comparing the “Hustler” star’s outfit to another household accessory, a netizen opined“She looks like a table cloth [sic].”

“It looks like a bedsheet,” commented a social media user, while another highlighted, “You look like you are wrapped up in your duvet.” Referencing how short the bottom half of Lopez’s outfit is, a spectator joked“She forgot her pants.”

Diverting their focus to the actress’ physical appearance, an Instagrammer questioned“Why is her left leg red?” “Why does she pose like she’s smelling something!!!!” exclaimed an observer.

Although Lopez received a flurry of negative reactions, some people showered her with compliments. “So many people don’t like J. Lo but you cannot deny that she is a beautiful woman and keeps herself up! Keep going and loving [sic] your best life 🙌🏼🙌🏼,” defended a fan.

A fellow admirer who praised certain aspects of Lopez’s look but expressed disdain for her outfit penned“Great legs & heels 👠. 🤓 No to outfit. 🤦‍♂️ Great hair. 🤓.”

According to her post’s caption, the “Get Right” singer wore the outfit for a press event for her movie “Unstoppable,” in which she stars as Judy Robles, the lead character’s mother.

“Press Day for…UNSTOPPABLE | adjective unable to be stopped — An unstoppable force. In theaters now and streaming January 16 on @PrimeVideo,” wrote Lopez in the caption.

“Unstoppable” follows the inspiring story of a one-legged wrestler named Anthony Robles who wins a 2011 national championship while competing at Arizona State University.

The film, which is based on a true story, features a star-studded cast. Outside of Lopez, a few industry heavy hitters include Don Cheadle aka Coach Shawn Charles, Bobby Cannavale, who plays Rick Robles, Michael Peña (Coach Bobby Williams), and Jharrel Jerome, who plays the lead character (Anthony Robles).

Before its theatrical release, Prime Video posted the trailer for “Unstoppable” on YouTube in October. The riveting scenes shown capture the protagonist’s determination and fighting spirit, and the deep bond shared between him and his mom, who fights for him to pursue his dreams. All-in-all, “Unstoppable” shows the incredible success one can achieve by never giving up.

In November, Lopez, the film’s iconic director William Goldenberg, Jerome, and a few other people, including the real-life characters, spoke about the movie at a screening in New York.

During the conversation, the “Atlas” talent divulged how she went about exploring her character’s story in a way that ensured the real-life Judy Robles felt “safe.”

She then spoke about the film as a whole, sharing, “It’s such a victorious, triumphant, inspiring story. But what makes it that, is the struggles and the hard times. That’s what makes it so beautiful to watch and kind of moving to watch.”

Recalling a conversation she had with the wrestler’s mother, Lopez stated, “I told her, I said, ‘The more you can give me, the more I can understand what your life was, and what your relationship is, not […] just with Anthony but all your kids and to yourself, and how you feel, like, deep down with all of these things that have happened.'”

Lopez also mentioned how “brave” the real-life people were to share their stories with the actors and with the world.

Expanding on her role further, the star disclosed, “For me, she was a very complicated character. Very complex — not complicated, complex. And complicated, like all women and people are. And you know, there was so much strength.”

She then noted the different perspectives she received from the Robles family about the matriarch. Lopez said that while the eldest son gushed about how joyful and encouraging his mom is all the time, the mother painted a more realistic picture of the challenges she faced.

“For me, when I saw the final product that was — I was like, ‘Wow, they — what came across was exactly what I encountered in real life with Judy and Anthony. A really strong bond of two people who affected each other and inspired each other to be the best that they could be […] by just loving each other, you know, as a mother and son,'” reflected Lopez.

Additional topics discussed during the event included other nuanced approaches Jennifer Lopez used to dissect and embody her role, such as changing her hair color according to particular emotions and phases in her character’s life.
