Cherry Cream Crescents
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup cherry pie filling
1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
Assemble the Crescents: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on each triangle, leaving a small border around the edges. Place a dollop of cherry pie filling in the center of the cream cheese mixture.
Roll up each crescent triangle from the wide end to the point, pinching the edges to seal.
Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Finish and Serve: Allow the crescents to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
