Orylan, one of the UK’s most tattooed women, is leaving people in total shock after revealing her stunning transformation. Before her extreme makeover, few could have recognized the person she once was.
Starting her tattoo journey at just 14 years old, Orylan’s passion for ink has grown over the years. Now, at 26, she’s almost completely covered in tattoos, earning her an impressive 143,000 followers on Instagram. Her bold, unconventional style has captivated fans and made her a standout figure in the tattoo community.
While Orylan’s striking appearance and bold style captivate many, she’s no stranger to online hate. Yet, she remains unapologetically herself, and her viral before-and-after photos continue to leave people in awe.
“I know some people think I shouldn’t have changed, but beauty is subjective,” Orylan shared with NeedToKnow. “I believe the way I look now is the beauty I’ve always wanted to achieve.”
She continued, “I think I can be beautiful both ways, but I feel much more myself in the skin I’m in today. My most extreme modifications? My tongue split, my tattooed eyes, and the implant in my hand.”
Orylan doesn’t follow a particular vision for her look—she takes things day by day, deciding if she wants to modify something. “I might get more face tattoos, or maybe even tattoo my tongue,” she said.
Having a split tongue, similar to a snake’s, has some unexpected benefits, too. Orylan even claims it allows her to taste two different foods simultaneously, thanks to the unique modification!
Orylan decided to put her split tongue to the test by simultaneously tasting Coke and Sprite. She described the experience as a confusing flavor combination unlike anything she’d ever tasted before. The tongue-splitting procedure, which set her back around $700, involved numbing the area with lidocaine, slicing it down the middle, and carefully stitching both sides separately.
Despite facing online criticism, the influencer remains undeterred. She continues to embrace her one-of-a-kind appearance and proudly showcases her unique look on Instagram, refusing to let negativity affect her.
“Some people just stare at my eyes, point, and stay silent, others shoot me dirty looks, and some even come right up to my face and say they hate it,” she revealed. But no matter the reaction, Orylan confidently owns her style and keeps sharing her journey with her followers.
Many people have compared Orylan to a “demon” due to her striking appearance, and most are left speechless when they see what she looked like before her jaw-dropping transformation.
“The craziest reactions I get are from people hiding behind screens online,” she shared. “They love to say things like, ‘You look like a demon,’ or ‘You were so much prettier before,’ or even ‘You must’ve had a rough childhood.’”
But Orylan has a powerful message for anyone considering tattoos or body modifications:
“The best advice I can give anyone wanting to modify or tattoo themselves is to do it out of love,” she said. “Do it because it will make you happy. We should only do things that bring us joy. For me, modifying myself does just that, and I want the same for others who choose that path—nothing but love and happiness.”
